Azad Shivdasani, is Chairman of the Inlaks Group, a multinational organization employing 4,000 people in a range of enterprises. The Inlaks group's interests include the provision of IT services; the manufacture of aluminium rolled products, tea plantations, a tourist airline, oilfield equipment leasing and engineering services. He has been trustee of Inlaks Foundation for twenty years which, gives scholarships to gifted students from India to continue their higher education at universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. From 1985-1995, he was a director of the Internal Institute for Environment and Development and its treasurer from 1988-1993.

Jonathan Fenby is a highly experienced international journalist, he has edited The Observer in Britain and the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong as well as the World Service of Reuters news agency. He has been a director of Guardian Newspapers, and was a member of the Executive Committee of Reuters. He also sits on the board of the European Journalism Centre. He is a Commander of the British Empire and a Chevalier of the French Ordre Nationale du Merite.
